Delicious food! The chicken fried steak breakfast is awesome (make sure you ask for the brown gravy)! Big boy omelet breakfast is delicious if you like spicy jalapenos. Great service and solid coffee.

This place never disappoints. The host, funny and pleasant greeted us with a smile and gave us the seat "with a view". I found his humor warm and inviting because although it was freezing outside and cloudy he made the day feel great with his genuine hospitality. The food was good and coffee was at the right temperature. This is one place I would recommend anytime!

Terrible place, I took my mother here for mother’s day and had a horrible experience. The receptionist ignored me as I asked for the wait time as he looked at me, totally disrespectful. After 30 mins in the rain to be seated I had to wait an extra hour to receive disgusting food with no seasoning of any sort. After leaving not complaining because it’s mother’s day I went to pay the bill. The guy took my card and completed the transaction and after he didn't even hand my card back he tossed it on the other side of the counter. I felt racially profiled and very disrespected, I advised no one to eat at the place.

My boyfriend tried to take my mother, his mother and me (a mom too) for a mother’s day breakfast. We agreed to come here after TOPs had a 2 hour plus wait. Since it was pouring outside he went inside to request a table for us. He was instructed by the receptionist that they would call him when our table was ready in aprox 30-45 mins. We were also informed we couldn’t wait inside for our table due to party size. At the 30 min mark, I started to get suspicious, because we were parked right next door and I continuously saw parties of 3 and 4 entering and waiting for a table inside the establishment. I mentioned this to my family and we decided to give them the benefit of doubt. At the 45 min mark he calls them and the young lady who answered the phone hesitated when asked about our table. He is then informed that a text message was sent out 20 mins prior and since we didn’t come inside we lost our table. He didn’t receive a text. He had full service. When asked why a text was sent when we were told we’d be called personally, there was no explanation. There was only one difference between us and the other people at that establishment yesterday, and there’s no need to say it out loud. You don’t need to be Sherlock either to figure it out. I left disgusted, my boyfriend left feeling racially profiled, and they left 3 mothers out in the rain on Mother’s day. Luckily when I informed a nearby establishment about our experience the host there accommodated us beautifully and saved our Mother’s day. They were double tipped and will be the only place I go to eat in Nutley ever again. If you felt racially profiled by this establishment share your story! We don’t need to tolerate this ignorance for some basic eggs and pancakes.
